I grew up in Los Angeles, graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in European history and taught Kindergarten/First Grade at an inner city school. My mission was to provide the kids with a positive first school experience and to foster the reading skills essential for a successful education.
Within a few years I noticed that the landscape of the City was changing and I recognized there were opportunities for wise investing. Marshalling my creative impulses and organizational capabilities I fixed up and refurbished older properties and found good tenants to lease them.
These investments gave me the means to realize long held dreams…to travel and live abroad. It was great, so many fond memories.
Upon returning to LA, I decided to utilize my business experience, passion for real estate and natural abilities as a facilitator to become a luxury real estate specialist in service to others. I am fortunate to have a base of loyal repeat clients and other professionals who refer their friends and family to me, knowing that I am dedicated to their best interests.
I became a Certified International Property Specialist, (CIPS) because of my love of traveling and affinity for other countries and cultures. It is fun to attend global conferences. They are informative about local markets and trends. Meeting agents from all over the world, not only extends my collaborative network, but at the social events we get to know one another on a more personal basis.
I spend my downtime with my cherished children, grandchildren, family and friends. I still have the travel bug, like to play tennis, see films and live theatre, attend concerts and educational seminars, discover new eateries and curl up with a good book.
Grateful for my many blessings I pay it forward through active community involvement: speaker on professional panels, past Vice Chair of the Global Committee for BH/GLAAR, member of Executive Committees of the Beverly Hills and Downtown Chapters of Bruin Professionals, member of the Women’s Business Council of the Century City Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to the medical organizations I support, I am involved with non-profits that embrace diversity, underserved populations and education: our Veterans through VAREPLA, our Seniors though the SRES Council, LA’s Foster Children through Working Dreams, Worldwide Children who have suffered from the results of war, poverty and environmental contamination through Kids Earth Fund, and Enrichment programs through Friends of Westwood Library.
With artful diplomacy and maintaining a respectful and calm demeanor I will be your strongest advocate in finding solutions should problem arise. I believe successful transactions can be a win-win for all.
