Westwood
Westwood borders Bel Air (N), Holmby Hills and Beverly Hills (E), West Los Angeles (S) and Brentwood (W). The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) campus and world renown Medical Center are at the northern edge of Westwood Village, which often is compared to Santa Barbara for its bohemian educational feel, novelty shops, restaurants and movie houses.

The Village has been undergoing a transformation. Several of the long-established businesses and buildings have been replaced by newer projects like The Palatzzio , Traders Joe's, Whole Foods, The Geffen Theater, The Armand Hammer Museum, Whiskey Blue -the lounge bar at the W Hotel, Tanino Ristorante and Bar and Yamato. Diagonally across from each other on Wilshire Blvd. are two sports clubs, 24 Hour Fitness and Equinox, each housed within a multi -story commerical building.
