South of France

The South of France is one of the most luxurious and chic spots in the world. Life here is comprised of a mix of historic homes and old traditions with contemporary architecture and modern trends. You are never too far from the Mediterranean or the mountains; nor too far from a quiet stroll along the lavender fields or the excitement of city life. 

The area consists of three major regions: Languedoc, Provence and the Cote d´Azur  (French Riviera). The South of France has hillsides covered with vineyards, villages perched on rocky crags and forests of the typical Mediterranean pine tree. The coastline has indented capes and bays with many beautiful marinas and luxurious hotels. With good weather, picture postcard perfect beaches, a charming countryside and a rich history and culture, there is always something to do in this area.  You can easily enjoy centuries-old carnivals, modern art gallery exhibitions, religious festivities, wind surfing and film and music festivals. A typical day could be an early brisk walk to the boulangerie for fresh bread or a stop at the local market for summer fruits, followed by sunbathing and taking a plunge in the Mediterranean.
