Downtown Los Angeles

Downtown L.A. is sizzling and has finally become a place to work, live and enjoy entertainment.

The plethora of long abandoned warehouses and older office buildings have been converted to live/work lofts.  Many of these architectually interesting and technologically innovative spaces have high ceilings, large windows and spectacular city views. Often these projects include resort like amenities, 24 hour security and are pet friendly.

The most prominent newer entertainment venues like LA Live, The Staple Center, The Nokia Theater, The Ritz Carlton Hotel and Residences are located in South ParkBunker Hill which boasts the more established Music Center and Disney Hall will become the home for the Eli Broad Museum and Park.

As each district has emerged it has developed its own characteristics, sense of community as well as favorite neighborhood restaurants, bars and shops.  Below is a list of the various Downtown districts along with a map to help you locate each.
